From our earliest childhood memories, we all had dreams of becoming something great, going somewhere spectacular, or being a part of something significant. Born into the heart of every person is a dream of dreams bigger than life, bigger than us. God placed this capacity in our lives so that we could receive dreams and visions from God. In receiving and interpreting these dreams and visions, we would then depend on Him and partner with Him in the fulfillment of what He might do through us. After all, we were created “by Him and for Him.”

One of the greatest challenges we face as leaders today is how to define our vision, implement it, and see it fully mature into God’s desired plan. Vision shouldn’t be abstract or nebulous, it should be defined, communicated, and at the forefront of all our meetings, prayers, and plans.
