Let’s be honest… most of us like to take the easy path. The path of least resistance. The easy out. We all have visions of grandeur – weight goals, career goals, fitness goals, financial goals, ideas about the direction that life and culture should take – but it’s harder than it looks to get there. The path that Jesus laid out for us isn’t the easy path, it requires us to do the hard stuff. Hard because it often flies in the face of cultural norms. But Jesus has entrusted us with this life and offers us His grace, wisdom, and strength to live it in a way that will bring glory to God and His goodness into every one of our circumstances, not to mention set us up for a life in eternity.

During this series we’ll explore how we can do the hard stuff by starting with the end in mind, letting that end help shape what we do today and how we plan for the rest of life here on earth. Specifically, we’ll use these thoughts as a backdrop for how we can do the hard stuff when it comes to stewardship and finances (and what we’ll discover is the incredible blessing that comes because of doing the hard stuff).
